Wolf Blass wins 7-Eleven Top Brand Award

Australian wine brand Wolf Blass was awarded ‘Top Brand Campaign Award’ by 7-Eleven in the wine category for its “strong sales and brand presence” in the Hong Kong and Macau markets in 2016, its owner Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) has announced.

Treasury Wine Estates’ general manager of Global Travel Retail & Global Customers, Barry Galloway and TWE country manager of Hong Kong and Macau, Andrew Walsh, receiving the award on behalf of Wolf Blass.

The award was voted by consumers and 7-Eleven staff members. Carlsberg, Heineken and San Miguel were also award recipients of 7-Eleven’s top brand award.

Barry Galloway, general manager of TWE’s Global Travel Retail & Global Customers, said: “This is a great recognition of our team’s efforts in growing Wolf Blass in the CVS channel. We will continue to grow and develop our partnership with 7-Eleven to bring our quality wines to Hong Kong and Macau consumers.”

“I would also like to offer my congratulations to the Wolf Blass winemaking team in the Barossa Valley of South Australia on winning this remarkable award and producing high quality and impressive Australian wines to Hong Kong and other regions.”

The Barossa winery most recently claimed the coveted Master title for its Black Label Cabernet blend at dbHK‘s inaugural Asian Cabernet Sauvignon Masters competition.
