Bordeaux Liquid Gold takes on Domaine de Baronarques

Bordeaux Liquid Gold, has gained exclusive distribution rights in Malasia for Rothschild family’s Languedoc estate, Domaine de Baronarques, the Singapore-based fine wine merchant announced.

The range of wines available in Malaysia will include a premium red from Domaine de Baronarques and a Domaine de Baronarques AOC white in addition to la capitelle de Baronarques.

Domaine de Baronarques was purchased by Baroness Philippine de Rothschild and her two sons, Philippe Sereys de Rothschild and Julien de Beaumarchais de Rothschild in 1998, and has since carried out a series of renovations of its vineyards and winemaking facilities.

Its first vintage – 2003 – is one of the first to be awarded AOC Limoux rouge appellation.

Julian Poh, CEO of Bordeaux Liquid Gold, commented: “We are greatly honoured and proud to be appointed distributor and will work closely with the team in Malaysia to introduce this great wine to sophisticated wine consumers.”
