Goldstein’s Ee Da Le soft opens

Hong Kong’s self-proclaimed celebrity chef, Harlan Goldstein, has opened Ee Da Le – the first of his new four restaurants in Hong Kong’s 8 Lyndhurst Terrace.

Dubbed a “casual Italian eatery”, Ee Da Le is a vast, 1,800 square foot space headed up executive chef, Fung Wong who has worked with Goldstein on several other of his projects.

Featuring hearty sharing plates, seafood, meat and handmade pasta all sourced from Italy, menu highlights include Italian favourites such as chargrilled octopus, meatballs, seafood linguine, lobster risotto and Goldstein’s Fish of the Day.

Tipple selections range from Goldstein’s cocktails of a dirty Martini with blue cheese stuffed olives and Fair Vodka to Italian wines by the glass, including Guado al Tasso Vermentino and Fontella Chianti DOCG.

Italian heavyweights such as Luce, Sassicaia and Tignaello head up the extensive wine by bottle list.

Famed for being outspoken and no-nonsense, Goldstein has returned to Hong Kong to expand his restaurant empire with Ee Da Le being the first of four new restaurants to open since he took over 8 Lyndhurst Terrace in collaboration with ZS Hospitality.

“I just want to let Hong Kong know that the real Harlan Goldstein is back! This is the first of our four restaurants at 8 Lyndhurst Terrace and Italian cuisine has always been my forte throughout my culinary years and I can’t wait to share with Hong Kong some of my newest creations from all my recent travels with the team,” he said.

Ee Da Le has now soft opened for lunch, dinner and drinks on the 3/F of 8 Lyndhurst Terrace.
