Singleton发布两款威士忌新品

The Singleton近日新发布两款来自Dufftown酒厂的全新单麦珍酿,The Singleton of Dufftown 21年与The Singleton of Dufftown 25年,标志着Dufftown的单麦威士忌于香港的首次登场。

The Singleton of Dufftown 21年,是经欧洲橡木桶陈酿最少21年的威士忌原酒,在The Singleton系列里,20,000桶中就只有1桶用以制作此酒。而25年则更为弥足珍贵,采用了最佳的美国组装橡木桶(hogsheads)来陈酿此酒,营造出含蓄的深邃酒感,50,000桶中才有1桶用以制作此酒,而且全球限量发售,每瓶均带有专属的特别编号,十分稀少。

Dufftown的首席女酿酒师Maureen Robinson强调了严选木桶的重要性,指出欧洲橡木桶能让威士忌的味道达到最浓厚的状态,带出更具深度的成熟果香、糖渍水果味及浓郁的焦糖味,而美国橡木桶则更能发展出成熟的草莓果香、香桃和热情果味,为两款威士忌的典型Speyside顺滑特质增添了更多迷人色彩。

她最后说,“Dufftown酒厂的顺滑风味,向来最为世人所趋之若鹜。我们亦刻意借这两款味道丰富、果味浓厚的陈酿,展现酒厂精湛的陈存熟成酿酒工艺。这两款珍酿,完美演绎了经长年橡木桶酝酿转化出的独特威士忌风味。”

DIAGEO全球麦芽威士忌总监Richard Walker亦表示,“是次在香港推出The Singleton这平衡顺滑的威士忌珍品,我们实深感荣幸。这两款珍酿也同时彰显我们首席女酿酒大师Maureen Robinson的精湛制酒工艺,与及Dufftown酒厂的优良素质。”

此次两款Dufftown的发布,完善了The Singleton在香港的威士忌版图,从高地(Highland)出品的Glen Ord酒厂12年及18年拓展至Speyside。两款珍酿均配有精致木盒,酒精度为43%。
