Mood enhancing cocktail list launched
Taking drinks innovation to emotional heights, Barts bar in Chelsea has launched a range of mood-boosting cocktails inspired by the Serotonin Café in Australia.
Creator of the list, bar manager Vincenzo Sibilia, claims the cocktails are “scientifically proven to ensure the body and mind both function at their best”.
The three cocktails are made with serotonin-rich ingredients that help regulate neurotransmitters and hormone activity in the body, keeping energy levels up.
The Happiness cocktail is packed with nutrient rich fresh fruit as studies have found that increased fruit intake is positively correlated with happiness levels.
The drink blends Belvedere vodka with strawberries, lemon, cherry tomatoes, maraschino cherries, sugar, basil leaves and black pepper to increase imbibers’ endorphins.
