Herti launches sparkling wine closure
Closure maker Herti has launched a new trademarked aluminum stopper for sparkling wines onto the market.
The “Vinstar Smart” is reportedly the first aluminum wine closure with a PVC free granulate liner, making it suitable for both still and sparkling wines.
Sparkling wines bottled under screwcap remain a rarity in the wine world.
After extensive research, Herti created the Vinstar Smart, which combines a standard wine aluminum closure with a gasket that ensures higher protection for the wine.

The closure keeps internal pressure of up to four bars and suits a range of sparkling wines, with the PVC-free gasket offering “excellent air tightness” according to Herti.
The closure is available in two dimensions: 30×60 and 28×44.

How can you say it is for sparkling and only holds 4 bars of pressure when any sparkling have 5 bars of pressure (charmat) or even 6 bars of pressure (traditional)….??
Maximum will work on a frizzante wine (2,5 bar of pressure)… to me it’s a fake advertisement!
