Jacob’s Creek in wine cocktail push

Fruit purée brand Funkin is promoting wine-based cocktails with Jacob’s Creek in the UK on-trade this summer.

Called FunkinSpritzers, the mixers combine fruit purée with still or sparkling wine, and the company has created “The Strawberry Spritzer” comprising Jacob’s Creek Moscato and Funkin Strawberry Daiquiri.

Funkin senior brand manager Joana Lenkova said the UK promotion followed a similar and successful push in the US.

“We have seen wine-based cocktails thrive in the US where we recently launched our FunkinSpritzers with great success.”
