Stalwart Portuguese rosé brand Mateus has so far exceeded expectations of brand owner Sogrape as it seeks to attract a new generation of consumers at this year’s summer festivals.
Portuguese rosé brand Mateus is switching to a clear glass bottle this summer, in an attempt to give the wine a “more modern look”.
Mateus has unveiled a range of low alcohol wines, its second range launch in a year, with owner Sogrape pledging to invest £2 million in the UK alone.
Portugal’s Mateus has launched its new Expressions range featuring four wines combining “Portuguese and international varietals”.
