Laurent-Perrier in Taste Festival HK pop-up
The international food and drink festival, Taste will debut in Hong Kong in March with Laurent-Perrier taking centre stage.
The Laurent-Perrier pop-up bar in Taste of Hong Kong will emulate its bar at the Paris event.
Alongside a line-up involving Hong Kong’s upscale restaurants, Aberdeen Street Social, Amber, Duddell’s, Serge et Le Phoque, Tin Lung Heen, Tosca, Yardbird and RŌNIN, wine will also form a major part of the event, with Laurent-Perrier hosting a pop-up bar.
Showcasing its Laurent-Perrier Brut, Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier, Vintage 2006, Ultra Brut Laurent-Perrier and the prestige Cuvée Grand Siècle, Laurent-Perrier will conduct a Champagne pairing masterclass using dishes from each of Hong Kong’s Taste Festival restaurant participants.
Elsewhere, Wynn’s Coonawarra will also guide festival-goers through wine blending using Cabernet, Shiraz and Merlot which they can bottle and take home.
Sake enthusiasts can visit Sunday’s Grocery ‘Sake Bar’ which features the store’s own Junmai and Junmai Nigori as well as in-depth masterclasses looking at the history and production methods of six sake breweries.
Taste of Hong Kong will run from 10-13 March at the Central Harbourfront.
