Taking place at the end of last week, the event saw the drinks business‘ editor-in-chief Patrick Schmitt MW deliver a Champagne Masterclass as well as a special evening reception at the event.

Senior staff writer Louis Thomas and the drinks business commercial team attended Italy’s annual trade show this week. Numerous masterclass and special events were held, including a special reception held by the db team.
The Bordeaux Masters
On Tuesday, Patrick Schmitt MW and a team of master judges tasted this year’s entries to the competition. Look out for the results on the drinks business online and in print soon.
The Global Cabernet Sauvignon Masters
Global Cabernet Sauvignon Masters were held on Wednesday at the Thomas Cubbitt pub in Belgravia. Over 135 wines from 12 different countries were tasted. Look out for the results on the drinks business soon.
