Arizona beer drinkers to gain better access to craft beer
The Beer Research Institute (BRI) is partnering with Quail Distributing in a bid to expand its craft beer reach across the state of Arizona.
The first four beers to roll out to Arizona beer lovers following the distribution deal are set to be 480G West Coast IPA, Urban Art Hazy IPA, Vamonos Mexican Lager, and Morning Sex Coffee Stout, according to local reports via Mouth By Southwest.
BRI was originally launched back in 2014 by Matt Trethewey and Greg Sorrels on the southeast corner of Stapley before the duo opened a taproom and arcade in downtown Mesa last year.
Speaking about the deal, Phoenix-based Quail Distributing portfolio manager Shawn Hillman said: ‘‘It’s been awesome to watch BRI grow as a brewery over the past several years, while keeping true to their craft.”
Hinting that that the time is right for this kind of deal, Hillman added: “‘We are very excited that the time has come for Matt and his team to take a big step forward into the world of distribution.’’
Following completion of the partnership details, the BRI beers will become more broadly available in bars, restaurants, and retailers across Arizona from the first week of September and consumers are urged to go out and see for themselves.
