Beavertown collaborates on Queens of the Stone Age music video

Beavertown Brewery, owned by Heineken, has collaborated on a music video with American rock band Queens of the Stone Age.

The music video, which is for the band’s latest single named Paper Machete, is based in the visual world of Beavertown’s flagship beer, Neck Oil.

The collaborative video, created by Beavertown Brewery’s creative director Nick Dwyer and Black Dog Films’ director and animator Alice Bloomfield, blend the brewery’s visual stylings with music from the band.

Beavertown’s marketing director Tom Rainsford said: “At Beavertown, we believe we show our creativity in everything we do; from the design of the cans to the recipe of the beers. This creative collaboration between Beavertown and the epic Queens of the Stone Age continues to show our commitment to creativity and taking an interesting approach to our marketing. It’s been amazing for everyone involved to work together on the music video for ‘Paper Machete’. We’ve embarked on a journey to redefine what is possible in the realm of beer and music. And if nothing more, Neck Oil is a banging beer for the summer and this is a banging track – what more could you want.”

Dwyer added: “It’s absolutely mind-blowing to be working with Queens of The Stone Age. We’ve all been massive fans of them forever. So, to have the opportunity to make a music video for them, let alone the only one they are doing, … well it hasn’t quite sunk in yet.”
