Katy Perry launches line of alcohol-free aperitifs

Pop singer Katy Perry has announced the launch of her own line of alcohol-free aperitifs, leaning in to the no-and lo drinks craze that tends to surge during the early months of the year.

Perry’s aperitifs, named De Soi, mark the latest in a long line of celebrity-endorsed/backed releases in the wine and spirits sector in recent times. Perry, though, arguably represents the biggest name to join the party on the non-alcoholic side of things. She follows Blake Lively, who released her own line of mixers last year.

“Just in time for SOBERUARY! Excited to announce @drinkdesoi a line of sparkling nonalcoholic aperitifs I’ve created w/ my fellow new mama/ botany babe Morgan McLachlan,” Perry wrote in a tweet.

“Our apéritifs are full of feel-good adaptogens for a drink that helps you create, relax & ease into the night.”

She continued in a follow up tweet:

“They come in three fun flavors: Golden Hour with citrus & lemongrass , Champignon Dreams with strawberries & grapefruit , and Purple Lune with blackberry nectar, vanilla oak & rose petals  Available now at drinkdesoi.com. Cheers to pleasure with restraint!”

A 750ml bottle of De Soi is priced at US$25, while the brand is also offering a monthly subscription service.
