While a classic margarita is made up of tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice – served with salt on the rim of the glass – there are many variations of the delicious drink out there .Take a look at some of the best Margarita recipes and prepare for a truly tasty National Margarita Day.
1. Casamigos Tequila Margarita
Featuring the Tequila brand founded by George Clooney, this is a mouthwatering take on a Margarita.
Recipe:
60ml Casamigos Blanco Tequila
30ml Fresh Lime Juice
10ml Fresh Orange Juice
30ml Agave Nectar
30ml Orange Liqueur
Optional: Salt/Sugar/Orange Zest Rim
Method:
Combine all ingredients into tin shaker. Add ice, shake vigorously, and strain into rimmed rocks glass. Add fresh ice and garnish with lime wheel through skewer. Roll rim in optional salt/sugar/orange zest mixture.

This visually-pleasing Margarita recipe features Patrón with a Grenadine twist.
Recipe:
1.5 oz Patrón Silver
.5 oz Patrón Citrónge Orange
1 oz Pineapple juice
.5 oz Lime juice

Method:
Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice to chill. Strain into a rocks glass.

45ml Patron Reposado tequila
45ml Amaro Montenegro
10ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
2.5ml Agave syrup
Method:

Method:
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice, and shake to chill and texturize. Strain into a double old fashioned glass with a large ice cube. Garnish with an orange twist.
7. Margarita Amore
Recipe:
1.5 oz Patrón Reposado
.5 oz Patrón Citrónge Orange
1 oz Apple juice
.5 oz Fresh lime juice
.5 oz Valentina-passion fruit syrup*
+ Fresh chili pepper for garnish
Method:
Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake to chill. Strain into a chilled margarita glass. Garnish with a small chili pepper. *Valentina-passion fruit syrup: Combine two parts passion fruit syrup to one part Valentina hot sauce and stir to combine. Store refrigerated.

Recipe:
50ml Tequila 100% or Mezcal Ojo de Dios
25ml fresh lime juice
15ml Agave Syrup
5ml El Yucateco Habanero Sauce
Method:
- Rim the glass with half lime and Tajin classic chilli powder
- Add some ice into a cocktail mixer
- Juice 1 Lime into the cocktail mixer
- Add 15ml of Agave syrup
- Add a spoon of El Yucateco Habanero Sauce
- Add 50ml Tequila 100% or Mezcal Ojo de Dios
- Get shaking!
- Pour into the glass and add a slice on lime
