Registrations open for Wine & Spirits Virtual Fair 2020

After trade shows around the world were cancelled this year due to the coronavirus crisis, many are now taking their exhibitions online.

 

Taking place next week (9-10 June), The Wine and Spirits Virtual Fair is a platform aimed at anyone in the drinks industry, but especially those with an interest in packaging and design.

The two-day event will include virtual exhibition spaces, masterclasses and webinars focusing on key topics affecting the packaging and closures sector in 2020, such as sustainability, packaging innovation, and consumer trends.

So far, exhibitors signed up e=include market researcher Wine Intelligence, closures groups such as Amcor, Amorim, and Verallia, one of the world’s largest glass bottle producers.

“The world is changing in a way we cannot estimate yet,” said Stefano Pistoni, Manager, Global Business Development, Wine & Spirits, UPM Raflatac.

“But we are sure that the virtual world is becoming a natural way of contact between clients and suppliers. Together with our partners, we are building a virtual platform that delivers live experiences, valuable content and new connections to industry members around the world. In the webinars, we will cover topical themes such as sustainability, packaging innovation & education, and design & trends.”
