Follador Prosecco toasts success of partnership with the Italian Open

Follador partnered with the Italian Open, part of the European PGA Tour, as the event’s technical supplier.

It was served to guests and golf fans while the victor, Demark’s Thorbjørn Olesen, was presented with a bottle as part of the trophy ceremony.

The Dane duly performed a Formula One-style celebration, giving the golf course a quick watering in the process.

The Italian Prosecco producer is continuing its demanding events schedule by appearing at the 66th edition of the Giraglia Cup, a sailing race organised by the Italian Yacht Club in partnership with the Yacht Club of France, the Société Nautique of Saint Tropez and the Yacht Club Sanremo.

Follador Prosecco was served on two occasions during the event which is taking place from 10 June to 13 June, beginning in Saint Tropez and ending in Genoa.

Cristina Follador, sales and marketing director, commented: “In Saint Tropez, the Follador brand was the ambassador of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, the territory that represents one of the great international excellences of viticulture. In a brilliant and refined context, this expression of ‘joie de vivere’ is congenial to us”.
