Pop-up bar made from Lego coming to London
A bar made from one million Lego bricks will be popping up in London later this year, offering enthusiasts of the coloured building blocks the chance to build fanciful creations while imbibing Lego-themed cocktails.
Named One Million Bricks, details on the event are scant, however it will be a space filled with Lego sculptures, bricks available for guests to build their own creations, a DJ and appropriately themed cocktails.
Targeting kidults everywhere, the event is expected to run in spring 2018.
“This Pop-Up, is the first of its kind and will consist of over 1 million blocks, transported and assembled into the ultimate nostalgia trip,” the organiser writes on its website, which is also severely lacking any concrete information.
“The bar will feature sculptures made completely from lego bricks as well as an abundance of blocks for people to shape into their own creations. There will also be local DJ’s spinning tunes all day.”
Tickets to the event will be on a first come basis, with those interested invited to register their interest here for pre-release tickets. The event is expected to run in Spring 2018.
