DFS Singapore scoops travel retail award

The DFS Singapore Changi Airport store has been named Whisky Magazine’s Travel Retailer of the Year at the 2016 Icons of Whisky awards.

Opened in May 2015, the store at Changi Airport’s T3 is the DFS group’s global flagship wines and spirits store and has the largest range of single malts currently available in travel retail in Asia Pacific. DFS also features a tasting bar in collaboration with Singapore’s Long Bar at the Raffles Hotel where visitors can have guided tastings and masterclasses in bartending and mixology.

In January, DFS Singapore Changi Airport was also the first travel retail store to be awarded The Whisky Ambassador’s venue accreditation.
