Man poses as a glass of wine on Tinder
A man who posed as a glass of red wine on Tinder proved such a hit on the online dating site that he clocked up 300 matches in two days.
The guy behind the gag, Orange County-based food writer Sean Fahmy, created an account on the dating website where he imagined himself as a glass of red.
His profile read: “I can be fruity at times but I can also be sweet. I’m not fat, just full-bodied. I was locked up in an oak barrel for a long time. I don’t wanna talk about it.
“If I ever get too chatty just tell me to cork it.”

In a bid to woo the ladies, many of his opening gambits featured cheesy wine puns, which struck a chord with many of his matches.
“Call a cab and come over, as in Cabernet,” he said to Andrea, while he told Jessica that he dressed up as “Obi Wine-Kenobi” for Halloween.
Another winning chat up line came in the form of “You had me at Merlot”.
