Blue Nun launches low-alc range

13th January, 2012 by Alan Lodge

Blue Nun, the German wine brand, has introduced a range of 5.5% abv low-alcohol wines to its portfolio.

The new Blue Nun Delicate range is aimed at drinkers seeking a lighter style of wine from a brand they are familiar with.

Blue Nun Delicate is made by the winemakers of F.W. Langguth who have more than 20 years of experience in creating wine-based drinks for markets all over the world.

The Blue Nun Delicate range includes: Crisp Fruity White; Crisp Fruity Rosé; Sparkling White and Sparkling Rosé.

The still Delicates have a recommended retail price of around £3.99 and the sparkling Delicates around £5.99 for a 750ml bottle.  Both are available to UK stockists immediately.

The launch follows the re-launch of the Blue Nun range with new styles and a new packaging design.

The full Blue Nun range also includes Blue Nun Rivaner Riesling, the flagship wine and still in its blue glass fluted bottle and a range of Mediums including a white and a red.

A range of four German varietals including: a Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Dornfelder Rosé and Pinot Noir, are also available.
