It’s a Crabbie’s Christmas

Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer is to sponsor the Christmas schedule on UK television network ITV.

Crabbies will also run a full national TV campaign across multiple TV channels throughout November and December, to support the Christmas activity.

The campaign will feature the brand’s familiar on-screen “Tickety Boo” couple, George and Camilla, and will also include the new Crabbie’s Spiced Orange for the first time.

Al Cross, marketing controller of the Crabbies Portfolio, said: “We are delighted that Crabbies is sponsoring the Christmas Programme Package.

“It is a fantastic fit for the UK’s number one ‘Spiffing’ Alcoholic Ginger Beer and offers fantastic support for the brand throughout the UK. This Christmas is set to be the most exciting yet for Crabbies.”

Paul Quayle, regional sponsorship manager at ITV, added: “We are absolutely delighted that Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer will be sponsoring the 2011 Christmas Programme Package on ITV1, ITV2 and STV.

“The programmes included in the Christmas Package are a great platform for Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer to engage with its target market and drive awareness of the brand.”

Recent additions to the Crabbies portfolio also include Crabbie’s Black, which is designed to offer consumers a stronger taste.
