Limarí investment pays off for Maycas

Viña Maycas del Limarí’s decision to invest in the Limarí Valley has proved entirely justified, the estate has said.

Having decided to invest in the region in 2010, consistently high scores for its wines and the on-going trend towards lighter, fresh styles of the kind Limarí offers have confirmed that choice.

“The Limarí Valley has shown us how to appreciate the fruits that result with well-directed efforts. After years of dedicated work and a lot of effort, our vineyards speak for themselves, and our wines respond with consistently outstanding scores. The challenges in the valley will certainly continue to appear, but I have faith in our project, and I have confidence in this ‘Magic Valley,’ commented chief winemaker, Marcelo Papa (pictured).

The winery said that 2015 was a “great” year for volume, value and accolades.
