London Beer Week to return for a second year

London Beer Week will takeover the capital for a second time next year, following its successful debut earlier this year.

Taking place from February 22 to 28 2016, the hub of London Beer Week (LBW) will be based at The Old Truman Brewery, which will host a pop-up beer bars and immersive beer experiences throughout the week.

By purchasing a wristband, at a cost of £10, guests will gain access to self-guided beer tours, £3 speciality beers and £5 boiler makers – a beer with a shot – in more than 100 of the best beer bars and breweries in London. A schedule of beer-related events will also be held, including parties, pairing dinners and brewery tours. The week will culminate with Craft Beer Rising 2016, the UK’s biggest beer, music and street food festival of its kind and will also be held at The Old Truman Brewery, with more than 600 beers on offer.

Now in its second year, London Beer Week provides a platform for some of London’s best beer venues and breweries to showcase their products to the capital’s growing legion of beer lovers. Last year more than 8,500 people attended the festival’s events, injecting £50,000 into the London hospitality industry through sales of more than 16,000 LBW speciality serves sold across 100 partnering venues.

The festival has been organised by the team behind London Cocktail Week, which has just celebrated its sixth year, and London Wine Week, which launched in May 2014.

LBW wristbands are on sale now for just £10, visit www.londonbeerweek.com.
