Arínzano boosts Amber’s premium wine portfolio

Amber Beverage Group, the largest wines and spirits company in the Baltic countries, has added Arínzano to its premium wine portfolio, following parent company SPI Group’s recent acquisition of the estate in northern Spain.

Located in the northeast of Spain, the Arinzano Estate produces pago certified wines – the highest qualification for single estates – with its vines first planted in the 11th century when nobleman Sancho Fortuñones de Arínzano first produced wines on the property.

“We are excited to add the Arínzano portfolio to the many fine wines that we represent in the Baltics”, said Seymour Ferreira, CEO of Amber Beverage Group. “Along with Achaval-Ferrer, Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi and Tenuta dell’ Ornellaia we continue to enjoy a growing influence in these luxury categories“.

The still wine market in the Baltic countries is showing steady growth of about 1-2%, says Ferreira, with the quickest pace seen within the premium end of the market.

Amber Beverage Group’s portfolio already includes more than 170 still and sparkling wine brands including Marchesi de Frescobaldi, Concha Y Toro, Las Moras, Torres, Delicato, KWV, Freixenet, Torres and others.
