Galvin at Windows launches pay-what-you-like menu

Michelin-starred restaurant Galvin at Windows at the Hilton Park Lane has launched a new pay-what-you-like menu that banks on diner honesty.

As reported by Hot Dinners, the five-course menu features the likes of steak tartare, BBQ Korean pork belly and a chocolate fondant.

Available for lunch and dinner to a limited number of tables for a maximum of four people, the offer can only be book two days in advance.

In the spirit of fairness, if diners opt to pay little or nothing at all for the dishes then they will go back to market price the next day.

“It will be very interesting from a human perspective to see how people will react when we ask them what they want to pay for the food.

“I believe 99.9% of people value honesty and integrity,” manager Fred Sirieix told Hot Dinners.
