Dining Concepts trio hit Hong Kong

Hong Kong-based restaurant group Dining Concepts will roll out their star players this month and next as three of their celebrity chefs descend upon the southern Chinese city to give its diners a taste of stardust.

The first to arrive is Las Vegas-based Mario Batali, whose new ventures Lupa and steakhouse Carnevino are generating buzz in Central and throughout the city. The New York celebrity chef and television presenter will be in Hong Kong from 7 to 9 October to host special dinners for guests and media on Sunday 7 (Lupa) and Monday 8 (Carnevino).
Spanish maestro and Michelin-star holder Sergi Arola is next to grace the city with his presence. The chef will be in Hong Kong to launch his – and Dining Concepts’ – new Spanish venture Vi Cool at Gateway Arcade, Harbour City from the 13th to the 20th of the month. Sergi is renowned in Spain and beyond for his Michelin-starred Arola restaurants as well as his popular casual dining, Vi Cool.
Finally, Al Molo Ristorante Italiano’s partner celebrity chef Michael White will jet into Hong Kong at the end of the month, from 31 October to 7 November. Frequently considered one of New York’s top chefs, Michael will introduce exciting new menu items at his Hong Kong outpost, along with hosting guests and media dinners during his stay.
