Top drinks apps

A concise selection of drinks apps that really do deliver

iPhone appsAs with the internet as a whole, there’s a minefield of products offering enthusiastic information about wine out there in the app store. The challenge comes in filtering through this bewildering array to work out which ones actually work, and more importantly, have something useful to offer.

With so many apps struggling to cater for wine lovers outside the US or cope with the hugely fragmented array of wine styles on the market, we bring you a concise selection that really do deliver. And we couldn’t resist adding one for cocktail fans…

If you don’t have BeachBum Berry’s Tiki+ iPhone app, you’re doing it wrong. All the best original and authentic tiki drink recipes right there on your phone–I use it all the time. Highly recommended for the Mahiki / Trailer Happiness crowd. Aloha!

I would like to introduce you to my iPhone app, Life with Wines, that was just released over the w/e. I came up with the idea late last year when some friends and I had a wine tasting night and couple of weeks later at the retail store, I could not remember the name of a particular one that I loved. I am sure you have had similar experiences, please try this app out… If you are reading this on your iPhone go here to download it: http://itunes.com/apps/lifewithwines

I would appreciate your review and thoughts…
