Royal Warrant for Vintner Systems

Wine cellar management software company Vintner Systems has been granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen.

The appointment for Vintner Systems is the result of the Royal household having used the Vintner Enterprise software package since 2006 to manage their wine cellars at Buckingham Palace, Balmoral Castle, Sandringham House and Windsor Castle as well as its en primeur and stock held in bond.

Royal Warrants are granted to people or companies who have regularly supplied goods or services to The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh or The Prince of Wales for at least five years.

With only around 850 Royal Warrants currently held worldwide across all sections of trade and industry they are a highly prized recognition of quality.

The final decision to grant a Royal Warrant is made by the member of the Royal Family along with advice from the Lord Chamberlain, the senior official of the Royal Household.

Nick Gabb, managing director of Vintner Systems, said: “We are deeply honoured to receive this Royal Warrant.  It is arguably the most prestigious award a business can receive and I believe it reflects our dedication to the drinks trade and the quality of our software.

“It is a fantastic distinction for the company especially as it coincides with our 30th anniversary.”

Vintner Systems is the leading supplier of specialist software solutions to the drinks trade in the UK and Ireland.

Its flagship product, Vintner Enterprise, is designed for a wide range of business types; from wine and food importers to beer wholesalers; from specialist wine shops to chains of wine shops; from commission only suppliers to fine wine investment companies.
