Ex Bollinger director opens consultancy
Simon Leschallas, who left Bollinger’s UK importer Mentzendorff in April this year, has set up a consultancy called Leschallas Solutions.
“After 30 years in the trade I have incredible contacts in every corner of this land [the UK],” he told the drinks business.
Leschallas is planning to offer his services to the wine trade and hospitality sector, but currently can’t represent Champagne houses as he continues his connection with Bollinger as UK brand ambassador on a part-time basis. He was previously Bollinger director at Mentzendorff.
“I continue to do the outside PR for Bollinger, so events such as The Open [British golf championship] and racing. I’m on a one-year contract which began on 10 April, which means I’m allowed to represent anything other than another Champagne.”
