ProWein’s Same But Different to showcase craft

ProWein’s Same But Different showcase, set to take place in March next year, will pick up on the “trending craft theme” featuring examples of craft spirits, beer and cider.

The craft drinks trio will star in the event, scheduled from 18 to 20 March 2018. The show is dedicated to “handpicked products” and will display them on an “exclusive stage”.

ProWein’s global head of wine and spirits, Marius Berlemann, commented: “On the urban bar scene, in trendy eateries and also in the wine merchant’s trade, craft spirits & co. are playing an increasingly large role and are tapping into new customer bases. This is an excellent reason for incorporating this theme into ProWein”.

Continuing, he said: “Add to this the fact that 39% of our ProWein trade visitors are interested in craft spirits and 45% in craft beer, as reflected in this year’s visitors’ survey. As a result we plan to create an additional, market-relevant line-up for our customers”.

The trade show is expecting 50 different exhibitors from the “trendy gastronomy and bar scene” in hall 7, located to the right of the north entrance. The ‘fizzz Lounge’ described as the “hotspot for bartenders” will move from its previous place in hall 12 into the “same but different” hall 7. The full and comprehensive range of international spirits will remain in hall 12.

Producers of craft spirits, beer and cider can now register for Same But Different at ProWein 2018. The link to register is available here.
