Moth canned cocktails premiere in Picturehouse Cinemas

Aluminium cans could well star in your next trip to the silver screen as ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail brand Moth has announced that its drinks will be available at all 26 Picturehouse sites across the UK.

Moth co-founder Rob Wallis celebrated the partnership: “We’re really excited to be working with Picturehouse to pair our Moth cocktails with great films on show. Our range is perfectly suited to Picturehouse with a cocktail for every film occasion, from a sharp Margarita in the bar before, a smooth Espresso Martini during the film, or an end of the night Negroni with friends after.”

The other Moth cocktail making its debut is the Mojito, made with Duppy Share rum.

Picturehouse head of sponsorship and partnerships Lissa Cardell said: “During the summer we welcomed Moth drinks as an official partner to Sundance Film Festival: London. Festival-goers has overwhelmingly positive feedback on the canned cocktails, so we are delighted to be rolling out the full range to all of our cinemas across the UK.”

There are 13 Picturehouse venues in London, with another due to open in Ealing. Indeed, cinema is well and truly back, with recent blockbusters like Elvis and Top Gun: Maverick resulting in a UK box office boom, with the latter alone grossing a reported £78 million in the UK so far.

Moth has also taken off (quite literally) with its new partnership with British Airways. Closer to the ground, another high-profile RTD brand to make its way into cinemas is Ellie Goulding’s hard seltzer, Served, which is now stocked in Everyman theatres.
