This French winery is handing over its Twitter account to users on Valentine’s Day

A French winery is handing over its Twitter account to lovers on 14 February, giving UK users the chance to win a bottle of sparkling wine for their partner in crime.

Domaines Paul Mas, which is located in Languedoc, is offering UK twitter users the chance to send romantic messages without revealing their identities in a Valentines-themed competition.

Followers of @paulmasuk can direct message the brand with their words and their intended’s twitter handle, and the winery will broadcast the best ones on the @paulmasuk feed.

Those messages judged the most creative, witty or amusing by Domaine Paul Mas’ social media team will receive bottles of Prima Perla Grande Reserve Brut sparkling wine to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day (hopefully to share with the target for their affections).

“We were looking at fun ways of engaging with Valentine’s; the idea of playing ‘digital Cupid’ was appealing – it’s a simple idea, and we hope to raise a few smiles amongst @paulmasuk followers along the way.”

To take part, twitter users simply need to follow and direct message @paulmasuk before the winery will display the anonymous love note.
