Lanson signs five-year deal with the 02

Champagne Lanson has signed a five-year sponsorship deal with London venue The O2, which will give it exclusive pouring rights at its public bars and see the opening of a new Lanson-branded Champagne bar.

The venue’s Up at the 02 attraction sees guests scale the heights of the 02 arena

Negotiated with AEG Global Partnerships, the deal will renew a partnership that has been in place between Lanson and the O2 since 2008.

Lanson will also serve as the official Champagne during celebration climbs for ‘Up at The O2’, an attraction where visitors can scale the roof of the iconic London venue. During May to September, visitors will be able to take on a Champagne climb, which includes a Champagne toast at the top and a souvenir printed photo. A new Lanson Champagne Bar will also be erected within the arena that will be accessible to all visitors.

“We are absolutely thrilled to extend our partnership with The O2,” said Paul Beavis, managing director of Champagne Lanson. “We know that once visitors try our style of Champagne that they become advocates.

“The O2, with over 9 million visitors annually, offers us a unique opportunity to showcase our vast range of Champagnes, which helps to reinforce Lanson’s position as the perfect aperitif Champagne for those special moments for visitors to The O2 whatever the occasion might be, as well as the perfect start to celebrate 2017 and beyond”.
