Veuve Clicquot teams up with Deliveroo

Veuve Clicquot has become the first Champagne house to team up with UK on-demand delivery service Deliveroo, as it expands its reach beyond restaurants to alcoholic drinks brands and the off-trade.

The service will be available in London from today.

From today, users of the app will be able to order a pre-chilled bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut to their door in just 20 minutes for £52.

Non-chilled options include gift boxed bottles of Veuve Clicquot Brut Mailbox (£61), Veuve Clicquot Brut Arrow (£61) and Veuve Clicquot Rosé Retro Fridge (£70)

“Veuve Clicquot is very excited to launch our partnership with Deliveroo, bringing luxury and convenience to discerning Londoners,” said Jo Thornton, managing director of Moët Hennessy UK.

Earlier this month Deliveroo partnered with Heineken to launch a dedicated route-to-market for the Dutch beer giant’s beers and ciders.

It followed the launch of the company’s stand-alone alcohol delivery service in July, having partnered with eight Majestic stores within the M25, 20 Brewdog sites nationally and a number of independent wine merchants including Jeroboams’, Lea & Sandemans and The Sampler in London.

The delivery business has said it is now targeting independents wine merchants, craft beer shops and bars across the UK, as it looks to to extend its reach into new areas.

Previously, users of the app could only order drinks from the restaurants they ordered food from.
