Duck & Waffle launches Easter-themed cocktails

Mixologist Rich Woods’ Nutella Negroni is back by popular demand for one week only as part of a trio of Easter-themed cocktails on pour at Duck & Waffle in London.

Aimed at chocoholics keen for a liquid cocoa fix, the cocktail twists on the Italian classic via Bombay Sapphire gin, Campari, vermouth and a Nutella infusion. Woods will be on hand to make bespoke Nutella Negronis for those seeking an additional twist on the popular classic.

Also in the Easter-themed line-up are shots of coffee-washed Bacardi superior, hay-infused white chocolate and black truffle served in hollowed out duck eggs.

Completing the hat-trick is the Beetroot & Chocolate Royalé, a sweet-savoury twist on a Kir Royale featuring beet and cacao liqueur topped with Champagne. All three cocktails are priced at £14 and will be on sale at Duck & Waffle in the Heron Tower for one week only from Friday 25 March.

Woods has long pioneered the concept of cocktails the combine sweet and savoury flavours, weaving everything from oysters, foie gras, bone marrow, blue cheese and Marmite into his drinks.

In January he launched a dual cocktail menu of anti-resolution cocktails alongside a line-up of non-alcoholic cocktails for those doing Dry January.
