Rolls Royce unveils £26k car boot cocktail hamper

British car manufacturer Rolls Royce has released a limited edition cocktail maker worth £26,000 designed to fit into the boot of its luxury fleet of cars.

Just 15 of the “Cocktail Hampers” have been produced offering a unique, albeit it extravagant, Christmas gift for the Roll Royce owner who has everything.

The car manufacturer’s in-house designer, Sina Maria Eggl, consulted with experts from upmarket London hotels, including The Dorchester and 45 Park Lane, to create the extravagant hamper, with each one taking eight weeks to make.

Priced at £26,335, the hampers are carved from American walnut and feature platinum-rimmed glasses hand blow by Theresienthal. Each hamper is clad in leather and comprises handmade decanters, a cocktail shaker, ice bucket, knife, bottle opener, food containers, glass serving tray, cocktail book and chopping board.

Should Rolls Royce owners wish to present their guests with canapés, two dishes are hidden in the hamper’s lower compartments, either side of an ice bucket, whilst discreet drawers hold recipe cards and cotton napkins. Smaller utensils including a muddler finished in American Walnut and a strainer engraved with the ‘RR’ monogram are securely stored on a specially developed moveable rack that can be locked when not in use and moved via a hinge.

“Each motor car that we craft represents a deeply personal expression of individual customer tastes and lifestyles. This extraordinary scope for personalisation extends far beyond the car itself through an Accessories Collection, featuring exceptional objects designed to augment the lifestyles of the marque’s customers,” said Gavin Hartley, head of bespoke design at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

“This beautifully executed Cocktail Hamper illustrates the marque’s intimate understanding of the desires of the most discerning patrons of luxury in the world; Rolls-Royce customers.”

Cocktail hampers can be ordered from the manufacturer’s 130 worldwide dealerships.
