Santa Rita sponsors Masters of Wine

Santa Rita Estates (SRE) has become a “Major Supporter” of the The Institute of Masters of Wine (IMW).

News of the partnership augments the number of non-European wineries which have chosen to sponsor the London-based educational institution, with Santa Rita Estates following Jackson Family Wines and Constelllation Brands, both of which became “Major Supporters” of the IMW last year.

Santa Rita Estates (SRE) comprises four wine brands from Chile – Santa Rita, Carmen, Nativa, and Terra Andina – plus Doña Paula from Argentina. SRE currently own over 3,700 hectares of vines in Chile, more than 700ha in Argentina and are one of the leading premium wine exporters from South America.

“Santa Rita Estates are delighted to be embarking on this partnership with the Institute of Masters of Wine in the capacity of Major Supporter,” said Andrés Lavados, CEO of SRE.

Continuing he said, “Santa Rita, Carmen and Doña Paula are all established South American vineyards and their commitment to wine education is well aligned with the IMW objectives. We are fully committed to maximising this partnership in a global context and are very much looking forward to working with this highly respected institution.”
