Europa winners Sevilla get weight in beer
The Sevilla football team has received belated congratulations for winning the Europa League last season, with players being gifted their weight in beer.

The Daily Mail reveals that Spanish beer brand Cruzcampo weighed the entire Sevilla first-team squad individually before handing out beer to each player.
However, it is now post-transfer deadline and there has been plenty of chopping and changing in terms of personnel at the team.
This means that some players from the winning squad lost out of their prize.

The beer was given to the current squad, rather than the players that took part in the winning game against Portuguese side Benfica in May.
Unai Emery’s side beat their Portuguese opponents in the 2014 final on penalties after both sides failed to score in 120 minutes.
The defending champions will face Feyenoord, Standard de Liege and Croatian side HNK Rijeka in this year’s group stages of Europe’s second-tier competition.
