Whisky Mist rumored to be going global
The owners of trendy Mayfair bar Whisky Mist are opening a new London branch in Harrods as rumours spread of global expansion.
The Sunday Times reports that Nick House and Piers Adam are also planning to launch Whisky Mist overseas for the first time, with a venue in the five star Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut.
The news of this international expansion for the bar comes just months after Argentine restaurant chain Gaucho also chose the Lebanese capital as the location for its first branch outside the UK, opening right next door to the Phoenicia Hotel in November.
The pair have previously suggested that they could open up to 20 branches of Whisky Mist worldwide, mentioning Los Angeles and Las Vegas as prime targets.
Both House and Adam also have a share in Mayfair club Mahiki, which will soon be opening a branch at the Jumeirah Hotel in Dubai.
