Calling all cocktail lovers: The Bon Vivant cocktail experience is coming to Barcelona

5 days of connecting with big names in the hospitality industry and tasting the latest in spirits, wines, and cocktails.

BARCELONA – From April 27th to May 1st, Barcelona will host the very first edition of the Bon Vivant cocktail experience, a festival with a more holistic approach to hospitality through socialising, incorporating, and celebrating good drinks, food, and a continuous thread of entertainment and conviviality. The Casa Rius, a Modernist-style building, built between 1912 and 1913, will be the meeting point for all cocktail lovers.

What’s on the agenda?

There will be 5 days of activities, both day and night, that will offer cocktail lovers tastings, events, workshops, seminars, private parties, and conferences in locations all over the city, including top bars recognised by The World’s 50 Best Bars such as: Bar Paradiso, Mariposa Negra, Pax 49, Bar Sauvage, Creps al Born, Las Vermudas, NOLA, Pipa Club, Alquimia, Dux Gin and Cocktails, La Whiskeria, and many more to come…

Big names in the industry will come and share their knowledge and insights: Ian Burrell (Global Rum Ambassador); Charlotte Voisey (William Grant & Sons, Tales of the Cocktail); Giacomo Giannotti (Owner of Bar Paradiso); Björn Kjellberg (tequila and mezcal master); Tom Dyer, (World Flair Bartending Champion); Salvatore Calabrese (industry legend), and Jordan Bushell (Global Brand Ambassador & Manager of Trade Advocacy).

The Bon Vivant Festival is a celebration of cocktails, hospitality, culture, good living, and more than anything, people. Barcelona is long overdue for a global cocktail festival on a grand scale and the Bon Vivant Festival is here to bring the community together with the biggest names and events in Europe!”

Through the Bon Vivant app, attendees can enjoy all the activities programmed at Casa Rius and in the different neighbourhoods of the city. here will be access to exclusive spaces with sponsoring brands, talks, and panels with experts such as Ian Burrell, Tom Dyer, and Giacomo Giannotti. Some of the best-known brands participating will be: European Bartender School, Hendrick’s, Sailor Jerry, Hennessy, and Monkey Shoulder.

About the Bon Vivant Cocktail Festival

The Bon Vivant Cocktail Festival is a cocktail and distilled spirits event that takes a more holistic approach to hospitality and socialising, bringing together professionals and lovers of distilled spirits innovation.
