Patrón Tequila releases one-litre holiday bottle

Patrón Tequila has released a limited edition one-litre bottle of its Silver Tequila ahead of the festive season for a second year.

Carrying an art deco-inspired black and silver pewter label, geometric print and trademark Patrón bee, the design of this year’s bottle was inspired by the spirit’s Mexican heritage.

The bottle is topped with a back and silver cork closure that reflects the art deco aesthetic of the label and packaged in a gift bag.

Patrón Silver Tequila is handcrafted in small batches from 100% Weber Blue Agave and distilled and bottled at the Hacienda Patrón distillery in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico.

Patrón Silver’s taste is sweet, with fresh agave and citrus, and a light pepper finish.

“The limited edition bottle offers a truly unique gifting option for those who enjoy and appreciate high-quality, luxury spirits,” said Lee Applbaum, global chief marketing officer at Patrón Spirits.

“Holiday shopping can be incredibly stressful, so we focused on packaging our iconic Silver tequila in a spectacular, limited edition bottle, resulting in a simply perfect gift that is sure to delight.”

The 2016 One-Liter Limited Edition Patrón Silver bottle is available at fine spirits and liquor retailers across the country with an RRP of $59.99.
