Having joined db in 2011 as a staff writer and worked her way up to the role of editor, Lucy Shaw is now a contributor to the drinks business. Her special interest areas include Spain, Champagne, rosé, South America, English fizz, drinks trends and the London on-trade.

During her 10 years at db she interviewed actors Sam Neill, Dan Aykroyd and John Malkovich about their wine projects in New Zealand, Canada and Provence.
