Ivy Ng
Ivy Ng is publisher of the drinks business Hong Kong. She manages the publication’s office and organises the publication’s events in Hong Kong, including the Asian Masters series, for which she chairs a panel of expert judges, and the Asian Awards.
Ivy came to the drinks business with a multi-disciplined career background and experience drawn from various roles in investment banking, executive search, business development, and sales and marketing. Immediately before joining the drinks business, she covered the Hong Kong and Mainland China markets for the WSET. Previously, she sold fine wine to private clients at Armit Wines Hong Kong.
A part-time wine educator certified by the WSET and the Sake Sommelier Association, Ivy also delivers masterclasses and guided tastings to consumers and trade professionals at various venues.
As a Bourgogne Wine Official Ambassador, she is partial to wines from Bourgogne and frequently visits the region and its producers.
Ivy is a graduate of WSET Level 4 Diploma and the UC Davis Extension Winemaking Certificate Program.
A native of Hong Kong, she read Engineering at the University of Cambridge. Her connection with France began with an internship during her university years.
In her spare time, Ivy is actively building her knowledge in another area of studies, namely cheese.
