On Monday 26th April at 4:00pm, Jamie Goode will guide attendees through an online masterclass and tasting of a top selection of Washington State Wines and discover their terroirs.

Washington State is the second largest wine region in the United States, cultivating over 70 grapes varieties.
With its 16 unique growing regions, each AVA possesses a unique combination of climate, topography, and soils which define the aromas and flavours of locally grown grapes and the wines crafted from them.
The state’s northern position offers up a growing season that sees up to 17 hours of sunlight a day and cool nights which help maintain the natural acidity and make it a grape growing haven.
In the masterclass, you will also discover how Washington State Wines is able to combine the vibrant fruit character expected of American wine, with the defined structure typical of the Old World.

Jamie Goode is a renowned British author and wine columnist for The Sunday Express. He contributes to many wine publications, lectures, and competitions as a judge. His PhD in plant biology makes him the ideal guide to introduce you to the terroirs of Washington State. He will also welcome three winemakers from several well-known Washington State family vineyards such as Maryhill Winery and Delille Cellars.
