Nimmi Malhotra

Based in Singapore, Nimmi Malhotra is an independent communicator of wine and spirits with a background rooted in publishing. Her initiation into the world of wine was sparked in Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, where her family owns a boutique vineyard, an experience that provided both inspiration and practical insight.

Her professional trajectory has since spanned Asia, with a particular focus on Singapore, Hong Kong and the broader region. Malhotra contributes regularly to respected publications in the UK, India, Australia, and her home base, offering a thoughtful perspective on the evolving Asian drinks scene.

She holds a degree in Marketing from Monash University and completed the WSET Diploma in 2017. Alongside her writing, Malhotra is a seasoned speaker and moderator, often sought for industry panels and events. She serves as a judge for the International Wine Challenge and sits on the jury of the Vinexpo V d’Or awards.
