Tasting notes:
A medium-weight wine to both indulge and refresh, this amazing Austrian red – made entirely from Cabernet Franc – delivers so much delicious fruit along with mouthwatering tannins, it’s hard to stop drinking it. Just starting to develop, there’s a touch of brick red to the colour, while there’s some stewed berry fruit and cigar box on the palate, but it’s still showing plenty of youthful intensity, with flavours of plums and cherry, crushed strawberry and cracked pepper, then cedar, toast and a touch of roasted coffee on its taut, dry, finish.
