Made entirely from not Grüner but Roter Veltliner is this delicious white wine, with its oily richness and salty-fresh edge. Enticing with its deep lemon-yellow appearance and aromas of orange blossom, even a touch of honey, one wants to sip it right away. And once you have, there’s more to enjoy, with tangerine and peach emerging, even some creaminess, then lime zest, white pepper and wet stone on the finish. (Patrick Schmitt MW)
