Tasting notes:
This wine, an entry-level, fruit driven style of Rioja, has a deep ruby hue and red berry, plum and blueberry fruit with cream and milk chocolate overlay. Dry, and midweight, the palate flavours are nicely balanced by racy acidity and well integrated, grainy tannins. A typical Rioja, this one is delightful with early evening tapas dishes.
