Based in the vibrant start-up hub of Old Street, London, JF Tobias are a wine merchant with big ambitions to re-think how fine wine consumers are served. Having seen more than 100% growth in the past year, we are searching for a dynamic & driven sales hire to propel us to the next level.

Job Duties:

  • Drive a second successive year of >100% growth.
  • Develop & nurture own client base, as well as maintaining existing client base.
  • Contacting new enquiries generated through JF Tobias’ website. Understanding client requirements, establishing relationships & identifying opportunities.
  • Trading on various wine exchanges.
  • Contributing to continual cycle of feedback & improvement of our growing catalogue of bespoke external & internal solutions.
  • Developing new markets including HK, Singapore, USA & Europe.

Skill, Experience, Qualifications required:

  • Extremely well organised and motivated, with a bias towards action.
  • Excellent communication skills with polished face-to-face and phone manner.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of success in both achieving company goals and bringing in new initiatives.
  • A high level of customer empathy. Ability to provide feedback and creative input based on personal and customer experiences.
  • Driven and results orientated.
  • Interested in new technology and its application.
  • Honest, trustworthy and a team player.
  • Fine wine experience & existing contacts desirable but not essential.
  • WSETs desirable but not essential.

 

Compensation:

  • Competitive + Dependent on experience
  • Personal + Team bonus structure
