Woolf Sung Ltd is an established wine and spirits merchant responsible for importing several whisk(e)y brands including David Nicholson, Blood Oath and Yellowstone amongst others – a range we see expanding over the coming years. We are also an independent bottler of whisk(e)y, which will see us launching the first of our two in-house brands in the near future.

To accelerate our growth, our brands department is looking for a passionate and dedicated sales executive to drive sales and visibility of our brands in London and the surrounding area.

What’s the job?

  • To develop our brands and maximise sales in London and the surrounding area.
  • To open new accounts in the London in the on and off trade.
  • To provide brand training to the on and off trade, as well as to consumers.
  • To represent our brands at trade events around the country.
  • To encourage repeat orders and ensure our customers are always fully stocked of our products.
  • To go above-and-beyond the call of duty to exceed set KPIs in relation to sales targets, opening new accounts, providing brand education and increasing brand visibility.

You must be:

  • Ambitious and results focussed.
  • Someone with a proven track-record (1-2 years ideally) in selling premium drinks to bars and restaurants.
  • Someone with demonstrable knowledge of the London bar scene and has cocktail bartending experience.
  • Someone with a real passion for, and good knowledge of, whisk(e)y and spirits. A knowledge of wine and beer is not essential but will be favourably considered.
  • Able to confidently deliver a tasting to drinks professionals and the public alike.
  • Someone with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to proficiently use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
  • Happy to work flexible hours. This is a field-based role that will require working late nights and weekends on occasion.
  • Someone with the drive, self-motivation and willpower to seize opportunities and work independently.

What we offer:

  • A salary of £25,000 per annum (plus up to £4,000 in bonuses annually, subject to meeting KPIs).
  • 28 days paid holiday (inclusive of bank holidays).
  • Real progression. You will be the first Sales Executive on the team, if you achieve your KPIs we expect you to move up with the company as we grow.
